Happy 4th of July! No big plans here - it's going to be a dreary, rainy day. I have a 5K on the schedule this morning and that's it. I used to run the Peachtree Road Race every year. (I think it's one of the largest 10K events.) In fact I ran it 13 years in a row! But I got tired of waking up super early on the 4th, driving to MARTA (the mass transit system), fighting the crowds, riding MARTA back with a bunch of smelly people, etc. I found a race closer to me and I think the course will be a little flatter. No Heartbreak Hill for me this morning!
I've seen a lot of bloggers having a 4th of July sale and I wanted to jump in! There are some things on my wishlist I can't wait to buy, so I might snatch up some of the items NOW!
